“This sounds like a great idea…
How can I help?”

MS_iconThese ten words are what have defined Mission: Sustainable. Together they make up the single phrase that brought every one of our cast and crew to the project from the beginning. And it’s not over yet!

If you’d like to be involved with the Green Carpet Event of the Season this Thursday, there are still a few volunteer positions available. It’ll count toward community service hours for high schoolers and should be great fun for everyone besides that. Here’s where we could still use a hand:

  • Videographer: Handy with a camera? Even a little one? We’re looking for one or two people who can help us to document the premiere so our videographer can take a much-deserved evening off to enjoy his work.
  • Paparazzi: This is our personal favorite. At the door to the event the “paparazzi” will be snapping photos of all of the guests as they arrive, while still others will be asking for autographs. We’ve got 6 people with nice, flashy (pun intended) cameras so far, but the more the better! Photos will be posted to the Mission: Sustainable website and Facebook page for everyone to enjoy after the event—where we encourage everyone else to come share photos as well!
  • Runners: We could still use a couple more of these general go-getters. These people will help guests find seats, answer questions, and generally support our Community & Affiliate Relations Director, Madelyn Spiller, on the day of the event.

If you’d like more information on any of the above volunteer positions, please contact Madelyn—she’ll tell you all you need to know!
